Welcome!

I love soccer. Plain and simple. I love the dynamics of the game... I love the teamwork... the suspense... the skill... and yes, the smell of sweat mixed with grass. I also love to write. (Can you see where this is going?) I enjoy the creative vibes awakened by putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard), and nothing beats the satisfaction that comes of crystalizing thoughts by expressing them clearly in prose.

Though I cannot claim to have some major altruistic motive like bringing good clean accurate information to the public, I do present you - the viewer - with the results of my passion for soccer and love of writing with sincere hopes for your enjoyment and edification.

I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. I didn't even go to soccer camp. I have read quite a bit, and I follow local tournaments very closely. I intend to use this website for recording my thoughts on the game I can't get enough of. Yes. I have put my ball and shin-guards down for this project, and I hope somebody finds it useful.
